Team Lead for international clients, Financial Management Services Apply for this job Newsec is among the North European leading advisors and managers of commercial and investment properties. To support our continued growth in the international client segment, we now seek a Team Lead for Financial Management Services.

In the role you will be responsible for leading a team of highly specialized controllers and ensuring a professional, scalable and efficient delivery to some of the most complex clients in the property industry. At the same time you will be a key player in the work to optimize processes, strengthen collaboration across the organization and develop a best-in-class FMS team that supports Newsec’s strategic ambitions and continued growth.

About the position

As Team Lead you will have the operational and professional responsibility to ensure a stable, efficient and professional delivery of our FMS services, across our international client portfolio – all while you lead and set the direction for a team of skilled controllers. You will play a central and outward-facing role towards the clients, and you will, together with the Client Director and subject-matter specialists, drive initiatives that support the clients’ needs.

Your key areas of responsibility will include

• To play a central, outward-facing role towards the clients, in an environment with high expectations for reporting and quality
• The operational and professional responsibility to quality-assure and coordinate stable FMS deliveries
• To be the playing coach who can spar with your employees about professional nuances and processes, without going into operational mode
• Cross-organizational collaboration to drive initiatives that support the clients’ needs and raise quality

In the short term your primary success criterion will be optimization and structuring of internal processes – and in the longer term, having created and developed a best-in-class FMS team. About you

We are looking for a team player who is used to operating in an international environment, and who understands how to handle complex clients and requirements. You should thus thrive with high complexity and, at times, tight deadlines, where you naturally guide the team to the goal. You have a ’can-do’ attitude, approach your tasks proactively and take responsibility.

In addition we imagine that you

• Have a cand.merc.aud, HD-R or similar, combined with experience from the audit/revision industry
• Have experience with – and are strong at – leading heavy specialists
• Speak and write English fluently at a high level
• Are system-savvy and see digitalization and automation as a natural part of your work
