About the job

Team Leader for finished goods production in Køge – with responsibility for people, operations and quality

Can you create direction in a busy production and make people and tasks work together?

We are seeking a team leader who takes responsibility, follows up and meets employees with clarity, respect and humor.

With our client you will be responsible for the daily operations and personnel management in finished goods production. Here you will lead a team of mixing operators and assistants spread across shifts and ensure that planning, quality and collaboration are aligned in everyday life.

You lead the employees and ensure coherence in the production

You are a visible and approachable leader who plans and allocates work, follows up on tasks and handles staffing in case of illness and on-call needs. When everyday life changes, you create an overview and clearly communicate what should be prioritized.

You are also close to the production and address the technical and quality challenges that arise along the way. You collaborate with colleagues across the company to ensure stable and efficient operations.

Your duties include

  • Production planning: You develop the daily mixing program in close collaboration with Supply Chain, planning, quality control and customer service. In the daily coordination meetings you contribute to ensuring efficient operations and timely delivery of the right quantities.
  • Registration and inventory management: You ensure correct feedback of production orders in SAP and follow up on stock adjustment of semi-finished products and packaging.
  • Maintenance and improvements: You coordinate necessary maintenance and improvements of the facilities together with the maintenance department and follow up on tasks performed by internal and external craftsmen.
  • Raw materials and packaging: Together with logistics assistants and purchasing you ensure delivery, as well as the associated incoming inspection.
  • Safety and quality: You ensure that work is performed in accordance with applicable safety, GMP and environmental regulations, and actively contribute to ongoing improvements.
  • Documentation and cleaning: You keep HACCP-related process descriptions, instructions and other work documents up to date and follow up that cleaning plans are adhered to.
  • Food safety and audits: You are the focal point, in collaboration with QA, for food safety deviations and participate in audits, workplace assessments and the company's other safety and quality activities.

The position also includes responsibility for the preventive food safety controls described in the company's HACCP plans, as well as annual training in applicable rest period rules.

You take responsibility and bring others with you

We are looking for a leader who is respectful in their approach to people and clear in their expectations. You listen, make decisions and follow up so that tasks are completed. You also have difficult conversations when needed, and contribute to a daily life with room for humor and a good tone.

You work independently, keep an overview and adapt when plans and priorities change. You also understand that good results require close collaboration both within the department and across the company.

You have experience with leadership and process production

We anticipate that you have a background as a process operator, a craft education or equivalent experience. You preferably have 3–5 years of experience in a similar role in the process industry, ideally in food, and have experience with people management.

You have technical understanding and are familiar with IT, preferably SAP. In addition, it is an advantage if you have experience with packaging and agglomeration as well as knowledge of GMP, HACCP and food safety.

A daily life where your leadership makes a difference

You will take on a central role with the opportunity to shape the daily operations and collaboration in the department. The position combines leadership close to the employees with planning, technical coordination and administrative tasks.

You report to the company's Regional Supply Chain Manager and will have a broad contact surface in the organization.

Try & Hire with a view to permanent employment

You start in a Try & Hire program, where you are employed through Power People. Here both you and the company have the opportunity to get to know each other, after which the placement transitions to permanent employment directly with the company.
