Team Leader for Minibus Stenstrup and Kolding

At VIKINGBUS we believe that strong leadership starts with strong relationships. Therefore we are looking for a team leader for our minibus division in Stenstrup, who is passionate about people and wants to make a difference in the daily lives of employees.

You will be part of the management of our minibus operations on Funen and in Kolding and will be responsible for the daily management, well-being and development of the department's drivers. You also will play an important role in the daily operation, where you must be able to guide the employees and make the necessary decisions – also when everyday life is busy and situations require swift action. Your primary workplace will be in Stenstrup, but you should expect one fixed workday per week in Kolding.

Your key tasks

• Daily leadership and development of the department's drivers
• Work targeted at well-being, retention and employee development
• Be a presence leader that employees experience as visible and approachable
• Conduct sickness absence, well-being and development conversations
• Support daily operations in close collaboration with the department's other functions, including guiding and making the necessary decisions – especially in pressured situations
• Follow up on the department's goals, quality and key figures
• Drive improvements and development initiatives
• Contribute to good collaboration across the organization
• Guide and assist the drivers with understanding their salary, allowances and other elements of pay

• Have a good understanding of daily operations and be able to create an overview, guide and act decisively. You do not need to be an expert in operations, but you must be comfortable taking responsibility when decisions need to be made
• Have understanding of payroll processes and an interest in familiarizing yourself with collective agreements, pay components and calculations
• Be able to explain complex payroll terms in an understandable way
• Preferably have experience from the transport sector or similar operations environments
