Team Leader for Evening Shifts at Silkeborg

We are looking for a team leader for the evening shift at a large, international sports warehouse near Silkeborg, where you will play a central role in daily operations. You will be the go-to person for employees when creating overview, allocating tasks or finding a solution - and you are also involved when it's time to push on in the warehouse.

About the job

You will be responsible for guiding the evening shift through the workday. This means planning and distributing tasks, following up on operations and ensuring that everyone knows what they should do.

In low season the team consists of around 5 fixed employees, while in high season more temporary staff come in, so the team can grow to 15-20 employees.

It is therefore a role where you must be able to keep a cool head when it's busy, while staying close to the employees and the daily operations.

You will not sit on the sidelines - you are part of the team.

Your tasks

• Lead and coordinate the evening shift
• Distribute the day's tasks and ensure progress
• Create structure and overview in a busy daily life
• Ensure a good and efficient flow of goods in the warehouse
• Follow up on quality, tempo and work processes
• Contribute to optimizing the operation and using resources in the best possible way
• Actively participate in warehouse work including picking, packing and forklift driving
• Help create good collaboration and a positive atmosphere on the team
• Step in when an extra hand is needed.

About you

We imagine that you

• Have experience from warehousing or logistics
• Have experience coordinating or leading employees - formal leadership experience is an advantage
• Have a forklift certificate
• Have good overview and can prioritise when many tasks occur at the same time
• Would preferably have knowledge of WMS and/or AutoStore
• Speak and understand Danish
• Are not afraid to roll up your sleeves yourself.

As a person you are the type who leads from the front. You can set direction, follow up and at the same time be part of the community. You easily talk to different people and can stay calm when tempo rises.

Working hours and start

• Sunday to Thursday 15:00-02:00
• Start as soon as possible.
