Technical designer for advanced design and 3D modeling

With Infrastructure Plan 2035 we face a number of construction projects where we will expand the road network, build cycle paths and establish charging parks. This places high demands on both our technical solutions and the way we work.

Your tasks

Your workday as a technical designer is a varied day, where you collaborate with experienced engineers, technical designers and other specialists on construction projects and the development of new solutions.

Your primary tasks include

• Drawing production: Prepare and update technical drawings for larger and smaller construction projects in collaboration with design engineers.
• 3D modelling: Be part of the transition from PDF drawings to interactive 3D models, among other things with Bentley's iModel technology.
• ICT: Structure, coordinate and quality-assure project data as well as develop and implement new working methods.
• New technology: Explore and test the possibilities of using, among other things, AI to streamline our work.
• Project materials: Prepare technical material for planning, design and procurement.
• Professional tools: Work with MicroStation and ProjectWise as well as perform screenings for, among other things, modular vehicle combinations in AutoTURN.

Your profile

We imagine that you are educated as a technical designer with a strong interest in drawing production and new technology. You are quality-conscious and motivated by professionally challenging tasks.

In addition we would like you to be

• er curious and proactive about new working methods and technologies
• have experience with technical drawing production in CAD programs.
• have experience with or a strong interest in BIM and ICT.
• have an understanding of 3D models and data management.
• er structured, quality-conscious and detail-oriented.
• have good collaboration skills and can work independently.

It is an advantage if you have experience with construction projects and familiarity with MicroStation, ProjectWise, iModel or AutoTURN, but regardless of background we will warmly welcome you to the position and provide a thorough introduction to the tasks.

You will be employed in the Road Directorate's Project and Road Technology area, where we work on design and procurement of larger and smaller construction and operations projects.

We are 26 dedicated employees with diverse professional backgrounds, including engineers and technical designers. We have a high level of professionalism and place great emphasis on collaboration, knowledge sharing and a good social community.

We have an informal tone with room for humor and new ideas. We help each other and ensure that you settle well into your tasks.

The department is spread across Skanderborg and Fløng, and we have a well-functioning collaboration across service locations.

Your salary and terms of employment

You will be employed and remunerated according to the applicable state collective agreement.

As a technical civil servant you are employed according to the currently applicable Common Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees’ Organizations – The Public Sector (OAO-S Common Agreement) and the organizational agreement for Technical Civil Servants (Technical National Federation).

The position is, as a rule, placed according to your educational prerequisites per the applicable organizational agreement.

In addition to the base salary there is the possibility to negotiate an individual qualification allowance depending on experience and qualifications.
