  • Handling permit cases.
  • Handling appeal cases and follow-up on environmental issues.
  • Participation in the general authority handling in the corporate area.

About you

We imagine you have a relevant professional background such as environmental engineer, environmental technologist, agricultural technologist or similar. It is important to us that you want to engage in dialogue with colleagues, citizens and companies and can thrive in a politically led organization.

Additionally we value that you

  • have experience with environmental permits, EIA and authority handling in the corporate area
  • have knowledge of the Environmental Protection Act and other relevant environmental legislation
  • work in a structured way and have an eye for both detail and the whole
  • are good at building constructive relationships through dialogue and collaboration
  • can express yourself clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing
  • thrive with independent responsibility while actively contributing to the team’s sense of community
  • are familiar with IT systems and preferably have experience with journal systems and GIS.

We also welcome recently graduated candidates with the right professional profile, strong motivation and desire to develop within the area.

About us

You will become part of the Environment and Nature Department under the Center for Technology, Planning and Economy. Here you will work with 50 engaged colleagues, where professionalism and service to citizens are a high priority. In the department we place great emphasis on personal relations, strong social cohesion and trust in each other. You will join a professionally diverse team where collaboration, well-being and sparring are prioritized. With a positive and humorous work environment and mutual support, we are ready to lend a hand when it becomes challenging. For us, it should be a pleasure to go to work.

We offer

  • An exciting position with great professional variety and responsibility in a cross-disciplinary work environment.
