About the job

Do you have an electrical engineering background and experience with technical standards or guidelines? Do you want to help shape a new area of responsibility and influence the technical solutions we work with? As a technical quality coordinator you will have a central role in the work with the technical standards we build the electricity network after. You will be responsible for collecting and further developing the area and become a professional link between departments in Our Elnet.

An important part of the role will be to maintain and further develop our design manual and technical requirements so they follow applicable standards, legislation and guidelines from, among others, Green Power Denmark. When new requirements, components or methods come, you assess their significance and translate them into common technical principles that work in practice.

At the same time you will have an important role in the preparation and quality assurance of technical specification requirements in connection with the procurement of network components and in working to create a common approach to technical standards and solutions across Our Elnet.

Your tasks include, among others

  • Coordinate and quality assure our design manual and technical specification requirements in connection with the procurement of network components
  • Facilitate collaboration between the departments in Our Elnet to ensure shared technical solutions and standards
  • Participate in the development of technical standards, guidelines and work processes
  • Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new technologies, products and methods
  • Support the organization with technical advice within standards, quality and specification requirements
  • Implement and develop guidelines and teaching materials
  • Follow developments within relevant norms, standards and industry requirements
  • Participate in professional working groups both internally and externally

Are you our new colleague? You have a relevant electrical engineering background, for example as a power systems engineer, electrical installer or master of engineering, as well as experience from the electricity supply industry or another relevant technical area.

As a person you work independently and thrive with freedom under responsibility. You create structure in complex problems and follow your tasks through to the end, even when several technical considerations must be balanced. At the same time you are curious about your field and motivated to develop your knowledge as new requirements and opportunities arise in the electricity grid. Since you will have a cross-functional role, it is also important that you communicate clearly and can make technical issues understandable and usable for different disciplines.

We imagine that you

  • Have worked with technical standards and processes to improve data quality and documentation
  • Are technically well-founded
  • Have knowledge of procurement processes and preparing specification requirements

Professionality, sparring and a broad contact surface: You will become part of Network Planning in Our Elnet, where we work with planning, dimensioning and development of the electricity network. Here we have a high level of ambition with an informal tone and a good amount of humor. We believe that the best solutions are created in collaboration, and therefore we prioritize knowledge sharing as well as an open and honest collaboration. When tasks become tight, we stand together and help each other to reach the goal.

The role also gives you a broad contact surface across Our Elnet, where you work closely with different technical disciplines on shared standards and solutions. In addition, you will have the opportunity to influence both your own area of responsibility and our common approach to technical standards and quality.

We offer

  • A professional area of responsibility you can help shape and make your mark on our technical standards
  • Good opportunities to further specialize within the structure of the electrical grid, sizing, standards and legislation
  • Opportunity for ongoing professional development through courses and relevant professional working groups
  • Good framework for your working day with pension, health insurance, canteen and access to a fitness room
