CFD Nærum seeks temporary staff for the Deafblind House

CFD Nærum seeks temporary staff - who, in addition to having a heart in the right place, focus on relationships and well-being. It is good if you have knowledge, education, or equivalent competences within the pedagogical or health care field. But it is not a requirement. In addition you must be motivated to learn sign language if you do not already know it. There will be day, evening and night work on call, regular weekends, etc.

CFD Nærum is a nationwide 24-hour facility for adults who are deaf and deafblind with an additional diagnosis. There are in total about 90 employees including temporary staff. The majority are employed as pedagogues as well as social- and health care workers. In addition there are therapists and a production kitchen. We are a bilingual workplace and use Danish and Danish Sign Language.

CFD Nærum consists of three departments with two 24-hour offerings (the Deafblind House and Egebækhus) and a day service (Growth House near the Deafblind House) located on two properties in scenic surroundings close to each other in Nærum.

Job tasks

Your tasks will be pedagogical support, personal hygiene and care of the person. You must listen to the person’s needs with respect for their self- and co-determination. Be aware that documentation is one of the tasks.
