The Åhaven Nursing Home is seeking a social and health care helper and a social and health care assistant

Nursing Home Åhaven has day shift vacancies.

We are looking for a trained social and health care assistant and a trained social and health care helper for a permanent position at Nursing Home Åhaven.

The position is essentially 37 hours per week, of which 30 hours are in day shift and the remaining hours, with full-time, are placed in other shift patterns

Expected start date January 1, 2027

Nursing Home Åhaven

Åhaven is part of Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality's 9 nursing homes. The home comprises 45 apartments and is located very scenically in Ferritslev on Midtfyn. We have views of beautiful natural areas with rivers and hills, we have a lovely sensory garden with beautiful flower beds, fountains, musical instruments and a large heated orangery.

We are good at listening, creating contact and showing trust. In addition, we possess good and healthy humor that tends to spread to those around us, both residents and colleagues. We talk to each other and not about each other, based on the fact that each person is unique.

We work in smaller teams and in close cross-disciplinary collaboration between SSH, SSA and nurses.

We are a training site for social and health care students and we also take on company trainees, etc.

We work in Nexus, so it is an advantage if you know the system; otherwise there is a good opportunity for training.

• Have insight into and understanding of the life and life situation of elderly care home residents
• See interdisciplinarity as a strength
• Can help shape a good everyday life for the house residents.
• Are a good colleague and take shared responsibility for the overall task in the house.

• Are trained social and health care helper or social and health care assistant
• Are good at communication verbally and in writing, preferably with experience in Nexus
• Possess calm and an overview.
