The Kaninbjerget Children's House is seeking 1 educator for 37 hours starting 1 December 2026

In our kindergarten, we are seeking an educator for our department with infants, toddlers and preschool children. An adult who is passionate about relationships and play, someone with experience in planning, structure, and close parent collaboration.

If you want to help create the best learning and development frameworks for our children, there are endless possibilities in our house. Here there is plenty of room in our two shared rooms, rooms that are under continuous development, and two very large, fantastic playgrounds. Our electric cargo bikes can take us around the local area and the public bus stops by our fence.

Here is EVERYONE, all the children, where we help each other across rooms and collaborate on activities and practical tasks.

We have a close collaboration with our families with the child at the center, and you, as an adult, should support, guide and respect their needs and rights.

Key tasks of the position

Are to plan, implement, and evaluate pedagogical work with the children in close collaboration with your colleagues on the room and in the rest of the house, as well as manage collaboration with both parents and other collaboration partners.

We work with TRAS and DPU.

Reflection and sparring are part of the ongoing evaluation of the pedagogical work.

What we expect from you

You are able to perceive the development needs of the individual child and the group and can translate visions and goals into practice.

You are supportive, flexible and take initiative and responsibility. You possess an overview, empathy and patience and can manage different needs at the same time.

You have an interest in close parent collaboration and share responsibility for parent conversations, etc.

We work with collegial feedback and personal reflection; you are curious and would like to become wiser about your own and others' practices. It is natural for you to work with your professional expertise.

You are development- and action-oriented in relation to pedagogical practice, and you are willing to engage in written and digital communication.

If you have a professional interest in working with motor skills, science and nature, we look forward to hearing from you even more.

You are flexible in working with different age groups, as there may be a need to move staff around in relation to the children we have in Kaninbjerget. Currently, this position is in one of our two kindergarten groups.
