The Royal Academy is seeking 2 service assistants by February 1, 2027

The Royal Academy is an educational institution primarily located in Copenhagen on Holmen and Esplanaden. Smaller parts of the institution are located on Bornholm and Kalundborg, but the workplace is in Copenhagen.

The school has 20 buildings, totaling approximately 39,600 m2. The outdoor areas amount to a little over 16,000 m2. The Academy mainly handles the internal maintenance of the buildings and outdoor areas.

About the positions

The positions are permanent 37-hour per week jobs. We offer a diverse and creative organization where you will become an important part of daily life at the Royal Academy. Your main tasks are cleaning in our institutes, workshops and auditoria, etc., as well as various other service-related tasks.

This is a position where you will have a broad collaboration across the Royal Academy with both staff and students, in both professional and administrative environments. You will become part of a team with different nationalities. The team is part of Campus Service, which consists of two other teams that will also become your daily colleagues.

Qualifications

To be considered, we preferably prefer that you hold the vocational education as a service assistant and have cleaning experience. You must be service-oriented, adaptable and solution-oriented.

In addition, we have the following expectations of you

• You must be able to communicate fluently in English, orally and preferably in writing
• It is a great advantage if you can communicate in Danish in writing and speech.
• You must be able to perform technically correct daily, weekly and periodic cleaning, including using machines, other aids and cleaning agents correctly
• You should have IT skills at a general user level, preferably with experience in the Office suite
• You must be able to cycle, as some locations are outside Holmen

Salary and terms of employment

Employment and remuneration are governed by the 'Organizational Agreement between the State and 3F for Cleaning Assistants, Sanitation Workers, Skilled Workers and certain Vocationally-Trained Employees in the State', where the base monthly salary ranges from DKK 24,954.25 to DKK 26,468.42 for full-time. This includes a pension contribution of 15% of the base salary. There may be opportunities to negotiate qualification supplements depending on your competencies and experience.

Working hours are 37 hours per week, including a lunch break from 06:30 to 14:00. We offer flexible working hours.
