About the job

Maybe you are considering an administrative education or studying law?

So you have here the opportunity to develop your skills and try what it is like to work with concrete case handling in a public organization. The Guardianship Office is busy, and we therefore seek your help.

Caseworker for an important societal task

In the Guardianship Office we specialize in cases concerning guardianship and future power of attorney.

We handle cases from across the country, and we make decisions in about 30,000-35,000 cases per year.

In most cases the case processing is done in writing, but to a limited extent there will be telephone contact with citizens.

Who are we, and what can we offer you?

The Guardianship Office consists of about 55 employees distributed across two locations in Aarhus and Ringkøbing. The employees in the office are a mix of different professional backgrounds.

The vacant positions are in Aarhus and Ringkøbing, more precisely Lyseng Allé 1 in Højbjerg or Østergade 4, Ringkøbing.

Your tasks will among other things consist of administrative case processing, e.g. information about cases, screening of applications and making decisions, and you will therefore become part of a small team with other employees who sit with the same tasks as you.

We do not expect that you will be able to solve the tasks from day one. Therefore we ensure that you receive thorough training, so you are well equipped to perform the tasks independently.

Who are you?

The crucial thing is not your background, but your personality. You may need a break from your studies or have just graduated this summer and are now seeking a job for a period. The most important thing is that you:

  • motivate yourself to provide good case processing with the citizen in focus
  • can alternate between independent work and collaboration with others
  • works efficiently and in a structured way
  • can express yourself clearly in speech and writing in Danish
  • has a flair for using IT systems
  • thrives in social contexts and values good collegiality highly
  • is quality-conscious and thorough in your work
  • t dare to ask if you are in doubt – and dare to act if you are not.

Contact and terms of employment

If you can picture yourself as an employee at Family Law House, please send us your motivated application with CV, exam papers and other relevant documentation no later than 4 November 2026. Interviews are held on an ongoing basis.

Start is 1 January 2027.

The position is temporary and runs until and including 31 December 2027

It is possible to apply for employment in either Ringkøbing or Aarhus. When you apply for the position, please indicate in which city you wish to be employed.

The place of employment will be either Østergade 41, 6950 Ringkøbing or Lyseng Allé 1, 8270 Højbjerg

We have flexitime, which can be used with regard to the planning of work.

You will be covered by the Central Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The Civil Service Area (OAO central agreement) with the accompanying collective agreement for office clerks, laboratory assistants and IT staff (HK).

If you want to know more about the positions and the tasks, you are welcome to contact the department head Frederikke Hessellund Molke Jensen at phone 6195 5879 or Jesper Kjerulf Christensen at phone 5163 4978.
