What will your tasks be?

Your tasks will be both to make decisions and guide citizens and businesses on the possibilities and framework for their building projects. You must be good at understanding the applicants' wishes, and at the same time have solid knowledge of building legislation, the Planning Act and related laws, as well as knowledge of the Public Administration Act and the Administration Act would be an advantage.

Our core task is authority processing within the building case area and administration of local plans from pre-dialogue over consultations to decisions and closing of cases.

• are service-minded in spoken dialogue and written communication
• have the courage to make decisions
• have lots of good humor and a desire to contribute to the good atmosphere
• have a relevant education
• experience with more complex cases within commercial and apartment construction is an advantage

We handle cases independently and in close sparring in the team. In the building case area we are 23 professionally engaged colleagues. We are 16 building case handlers, distributed over 2 teams, namely Team Construction and Team Commercial Construction. Which team you should join depends on your prerequisites and interests.

Center for Town, Land and Water prioritizes professional relationships highly, and we work in close contact with other departments and centers in the municipality. We also prioritize being at the forefront of using digital tools.

Salary and employment terms

Working hours are 37 hours per week and we have flex time. You will be employed according to the applicable collective agreement between your organization and the Danish Municipalities Association. There will be an opportunity to negotiate a qualification allowance. There will also be the possibility for home office.

Workplace is Sct. Anna Gade 5A, 3000 Helsingør, only 250 m from Helsingør Station.
