Two substance abuse counselors are sought for Rusmiddelcenter Syddjurs, Rønde.

About the position

We are looking for two dedicated and professionally grounded substance-use treatment professionals for the Substance Center South Djurs with a start date of January 1, 2027. Both positions are 37 hours per week. The role includes both treatment-related and regulatory tasks, as the Substance Center South Djurs is both a regulator and a provider.

We are in an exciting development process where we are specifically working to strengthen the quality of our offerings and develop new initiatives. Therefore we are seeking two colleagues who both thrive in daily citizen contact and also want to actively contribute to professional development, method development, and development of new initiatives.

Job tasks

• Carry out individual treatment courses and motivation interviews.
• Prepare treatment plans and documentation.
• Handle regulatory duties in accordance with applicable law.
• Involve relatives and networks when it supports the citizen's development.
• Participate in family-oriented and holistic initiatives.
• Engage in close collaboration with the center's nurse and medical consultant.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Contribute to the development of offerings and group-based interventions.

About us

In the Substance Center South Djurs, which falls under the organizational umbrella of the “Center for Social Rehabilitation,” we are 11 employees. We offer outpatient guidance and treatment to youths, adults and families with substance-use problems and their relatives. In addition, we offer talking therapies to children and young people who grow up or have grown up in families with substance-use issues.

We work from a holistic, recovery-supportive and person-centered approach, employing evidence-based and documented approaches in substance-use treatment where the citizen's own goals and resources are the driving force.

At the same time, we are focused on continuously developing our offerings, creating new opportunities for citizens and strengthening collaboration across professional areas, networks and civil society. Therefore we are looking for two employees who want to both solve the core task and help shape the future of substance-use treatment in South Djurs.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement under the principles of New Pay.
