About the job

As a dispatcher at AVAS you will have a central and responsible role in the daily operation of our transport and crane solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles, cranes, personnel and capacity come together in harmony so tasks are solved efficiently, professionally and on time.

Your primary areas of responsibility will be

• Dispatching and planning: Efficient management of transport and crane tasks.
• Coordination: Ongoing dialogue and coordination with drivers, crane operators and partners.
• Operations optimization: Monitoring runs, waiting times, resource utilization and equipment.
• Adaptation: Rapid adjustment of plans in line with changed conditions, weather conditions and customer needs.
• Administration: Preparation for invoicing as well as daily approval and follow-up.
• Overview: Ensuring structure and a good flow in a changing daily life.

About you

We imagine you are a "top-notch dispatcher" who is passionate about the profession. In addition we expect you to:

• Have solid experience as a dispatcher or from the transport, logistics or construction industry – and preferably have knowledge of crane and transport solutions.
• Thrive in a high tempo and maintain a calm overview when things change quickly.
• Are structured, decisive and act clearly and professionally in your communication.
• Have good IT understanding and work naturally data-driven with planning systems.
• Understand the economic connection between operations, service and invoicing.

As a person you are collaborative, responsible and distinctly solution-oriented. You manage to create calm and clear direction – even when many balls are in the air at once.
