Workshop Foreman

Production supervisor with a focus on people, flow and delivery

Do you have an overview, can you get people and production to work together – and are you motivated by making today\'s plan succeed?

At ab Aluminium you get a central role close to both people and production – and a 37-hour work week spread over four days, so you have Friday off.

Your tasks will include

· Responsibility for daily operations and leadership of 30-35 colleagues

• Ensure that we deliver on time and with the quality the customer expects
• Plan and coordinate staffing
• Prepare and release production papers
• Introduce new employees to the company and their tasks
• Contribute to recruiting new employees
• Collaborate with our technical key personnel
• Contribute to technical development, process improvements and optimizations

You do not need to have the answer to all technical questions. Instead you should be able to bring together the right people, follow up and ensure that tasks move forward. We are in the process of implementing Theory of Constraints, and you will have a central role here. It is not a requirement that you already know the theory, but you should be curious and eager to learn.

Who are you?

Your exact educational background is not the most important. You can have a craft or technical background and be ready for the next step – or already have experience as a foreman, team leader or production manager.

We imagine that you

• Have experience from a manufacturing company and technical understanding
• Have a good overview and can prioritise in a busy everyday life
• Are good with people and communicate clearly
• Dare to make decisions and follow up on them
• Can create structure and are keen to develop both people and production
• Are comfortable with IT and eager to learn our systems

Experience with personnel responsibility or coordination of production is an advantage, but the right personality and understanding of production matters just as much to us.

What do you get with ab Aluminium?

We are a Danish manufacturing company with more than 50 years of experience and a strong team of 45 colleagues.

With us you get

• A central role with real influence on daily production
• Opportunity to shape workflows and development
• Short decision-making paths and freedom with responsibility
• Flat organization where office and production are one team working together

· 37-hour work week spread over 4 days, so you have Friday off.

• Thursday cafe once a quarter, where we end the week with grilling, camaraderie and music on the stage in the production hall

ab Aluminium A/S in Thisted manufactures everything from simple components to complex aluminium specialties. With many competences gathered under one roof, we can handle almost any task, and we are proud of high quality, flexibility and many years of experience in aluminium processing.

We are ISO 9001 certified and have welding certification EN 3834. We continuously work to develop our products, processes and employees, and you will be part of the journey.
