Maintenance smith for a brand-new and state-of-the-art production facility at Danish Crown in Vejen

JKS Tech&Metal is recruiting on behalf of Danish Crown a skilled and independent maintenance metalworker for a new, modern production facility in Vejen.

The facility is used for slicing and packaging of fresh products, and therefore this is food production and not slaughterhouse work.

You will be an important part of the technical operation, where you in close collaboration with the production team must ensure that the facility runs optimally. The job offers a varied everyday life with mechanical fault finding, repairs and maintenance of modern production equipment.

The position is newly created and on a permanent day shift.

Your tasks

• Daily operation and maintenance of the new production plant
• Mechanical fault finding and repair on machines and production equipment
• Service and maintenance of hydraulics, compressors and pumps
• Replacement of worn and defective machine parts
• Smaller welding tasks, mainly in stainless steel
• Preventive maintenance and optimization of the plant
• Close cooperation with the production to ensure stable operation

We are looking for someone who

• Is trained as a smith, klejnsmed (shear metal worker), industrial metalworker or has a corresponding mechanical background
• Preferably has experience with maintenance of production plants and industrial machines
• Has knowledge of hydraulics, pumps and mechanical installations
• Can perform minor welding tasks, preferably in stainless steel
• Is good at fault finding and can work independently
• Is solution-oriented, responsible and thrives with a varied workday
• Wants to work with modern technology in a new production environment

Working hours and location

Location: Danish Crown, Vejen

Working hours: Monday to Friday 06:00 to approx. 13:30–14:30. In connection with holidays and other absence in the technical team, flexibility is expected
