About the job

Become part of a specialized and multidisciplinary team where expertise, structure and relationships go hand in hand. Do you want to make a real difference for people with acquired brain injury – and at the same time leave your mark on an organization in development?

A workplace in exciting development

We are seeking two nurses for permanent positions in our rehabilitation unit at a specialized level with start on December 1, 2026.

We are in the midst of a meaningful change. In connection with the Health Reform, the specialized area is being transferred from the municipality to the region as of January 1, 2027. You will thus become part of an organization in motion, where you will have the opportunity to make your professional mark, contribute to the development of rehabilitation at a specialized level, and be part of an important journey for both citizens, staff and partners.

About working with us

We work with citizens after discharge from hospital stays, where the length of stay depends on each citizen's development potential – typically a course of about three months. In rehabilitation, we work purposefully to ensure that the individual citizen becomes active and participate in their future life, based on their own resources, wishes and needs – and always in close collaboration with relatives.

You will become part of a dynamic, engaged and multidisciplinary team consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, social and health care assistants, neuropsychologist, speech therapist and chief physician. We work specialized with individual rehabilitation plans and focus on supporting citizens to become active participants in their own lives.

These are permanent full-time positions, and you will be included in a shift system, as the unit is staffed around the clock. The work includes shifts at different times of the day and weekend work. The exact scope will be agreed and planned in the shift schedule.

Your tasks

  • Nursing assessments, observations and interventions in rehabilitation programs as well as medication management, dispensing and follow-up on treatment.
  • Collaboration with citizens, relatives, doctors, hospitals and municipal partners.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary rehabilitation plans, targeted interventions as well as documentation, status descriptions and professional communication.
  • Support a rehabilitative approach in daily work with citizens.

About you

We are looking for someone who

  • Is professionally engaged, curious and wants to work with people with acquired brain injury and complex problems in a rehabilitative everyday life.
  • Is interested in, and preferably has experience with, neurorehabilitation and complex courses.
  • Sees neuro-pedagogical strategies as a natural part of the task.
  • Has good collaboration skills, thrives in team work, seeks sparring and values multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Is proactive and able to plan and prioritize own tasks independently.
  • Communicates clearly, both orally and in writing, and thrives in collaboration with citizens and relatives.
  • Moves seamlessly between mon-disciplinary and multidisciplinary tasks, even when daily work requires quick shifts. At the same time, actively contributes to a good work environment together with your multidisciplinary colleagues.

It is an advantage if you have a driver's license, but not a requirement, as rehabilitation for some citizens will also take place in the citizen's own home.

What can you expect?

With us you enter a workplace where professionalism and human closeness go hand in hand. We offer:

  • A close multidisciplinary collaboration with the citizen at the center and the opportunity to closely follow the citizen's development.
  • A thorough introductory program with professional guidance, supervision and skills development in relevant tasks.
  • A varied everyday life with professional challenges and a focus on quality and evidence-based practice.
  • A good working environment with psychological safety, engaged colleagues, good mood and room for togetherness.

Do you want to help set the standard for specialized neurorehabilitation? Then we look forward to hearing from you.
