VIA, Facility Management seeks a cleaning assistant for Campus Ikast

VIA, Facility Management, Campus Ikast is seeking a cleaning assistant with a start on December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

We are looking for an employee who has experience in cleaning and is familiar with the contents and mode of action of cleaning agents.

You are a positive team player who, together with your colleagues, takes responsibility and plans to achieve your common goals.

You will, in close collaboration with the operations manager and the other service assistants under Facility Management, keep all premises clean and tidy so that it is pleasant to be there.

Your tasks

• Perform the daily cleaning within your assigned area
• Carry out cleaning in the instructed manner
• Acquire knowledge of cleaning agents' contents and how they work
• Lend a hand where needed
• There may be additional cleaning shifts on some weekends, agreed with your immediate supervisor
• Internal relief for short-term illness and holidays, etc.

Your qualifications

• You are a team player and can join a cleaning team
• You can plan tasks independently and maintain an overview
• You can support the surroundings' importance for the learning and study environment
• You have a positive attitude to collaborate with other staff to provide service to VIA’s students, course participants and partners
• You can contribute to / participate in continuing education within cleaning
• You have IT skills

Since a part of our collegial work requires communication in Danish, it is an advantage if you have knowledge of Danish or speak Danish so you can understand and convey relevant information in completing tasks.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms are set according to the Central Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and OAO and the organizational agreement for cleaning assistants in the State.

Your primary workplace is VIA, Campus Ikast, Bøgildvej 10, Ikast.

The position is 37 hours per week. The working hours will be Monday to Friday from 04:00 – 11:25.

The position belongs to VIA University College, Facility Management, and your daily supervisor will be Service Manager Per Bang.
