About the job

In the Department of Job & Development we continue to seek an engaged business consultant who is passionate about delivering results through a company-oriented approach. You will work with the retention of sick-listed citizens on sickness benefits and job-clarification programs, as well as support activity-ready cash benefit recipients over 30 years in their path toward regular paid hours and the labor market.

We work purposefully to strengthen citizens' linkage to the labor market through paid hours, partial sick leave, gradual return to work, and company-oriented initiatives. We believe progression occurs best in close collaboration with employers, where citizens have the opportunity to develop their work capacity in practice.

Your new workplace

Job & Development is a department with high professionalism and strong ambitions to support citizens back into the labor market. We work cross-professionally with citizens on sickness benefits, in job-clarification programs, resource programs and cash benefits.

As a consequence of the employment reform, we have implemented organizational changes, and Job & Development is therefore a new department composed of employees from different professional areas. This means that we are still building common workflows, strengthening cross-collaboration, and creating a shared culture.

Therefore, you will have an exciting opportunity to become part of a developing department where you can help shape both the professional approach, collaboration, and the future direction.

We have a high level of professionalism and a strong focus on delivering results for citizens. We meet citizens with curiosity, respect and belief in their development possibilities, and we bring cross-disciplinary collaboration into play in cooperation with both internal and external partners.

Your background

Your background could be social worker or similar, but the most important is your experience from the employment field, and your motivation to get jobless citizens back into employment. You also need to be comfortable with the administrative part of the work, while being able to knock on doors with companies and be able to communicate with both employers and citizens.

Your duties will include among other things

  • Work with retention efforts for sick-listed citizens in sickness benefits and job-clarification programs. This includes, among other things, roundtable discussions with employers, citizens and the job center.
  • Prepare ramp-up and return-to-work plans in collaboration with citizens and employers.
  • Support partial sick leave and gradual return to the labor market.
  • Establish and follow up on company-oriented offers, including internship programs and paid hours, and support citizens' progression toward the labor market.
  • Collaborate closely with caseworkers on citizens' employment-related efforts.
  • Document citizens' progress through record-keeping and the preparation of progression reports and work-ability descriptions.
  • Make decisions on granting disability compensating arrangements, including aids and personal assistance.

We emphasize that you

  • Have experience with company contact and company-oriented initiatives.
  • Conduct motivational conversations with citizens always with a job-oriented focus.
  • Have experience with and are motivated by written documentation, for example, record-keeping, preparation of progression reports and work-ability descriptions.
  • Believe that all citizens have something to contribute to the labor market, even though the target group may have different challenges.
  • Have knowledge of the employment field.
  • Can create trusting relationships with both citizens and employers.
  • Are structured, results-oriented and good at collaboration.
  • Are motivated and have trust that citizens can return to the labor market.
  • Actively contribute to the development and optimization of internal workflows.

We offer

We offer an exciting and meaningful position where you get the opportunity to make a real difference for citizens on the road back to the labor market. You will become part of a professionally strong and engaged team where collaboration, coaching and knowledge sharing are highly valued.

With us you will have a daily life with great variation in tasks, good opportunities for professional development and ongoing sparring with competent colleagues. At the same time, we offer flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work in accordance with current guidelines.

You will become part of a workplace in development where we value engagement, initiative and good humour. We place great importance on well-being and a good working environment, and we believe that the best results are created in a community characterized by trust, helpfulness and mutual respect.
