About the job

We are looking for a skilled and engaged warehouse and logistics assistant for ITW GSE's spare parts warehouse. You will have an important role in the daily warehouse operations, where you help ensure that spare parts are handled correctly and that orders are processed and shipped on time.

You will become part of a small team in the spare parts warehouse, where cooperation, structure and quality are essential for the logistics to function efficiently and for customers to receive the service they expect.

A significant part of the warehouse shipments consists of spare parts that are exported to customers worldwide. Therefore you will also have a role in planning and coordinating transport and international shipments.

Your main tasks will include

• Handling and dispatching orders.
• Picking, packing and preparing spare parts.
• Forklift driving and loading and unloading of goods.
• Goods receipt and inspection of incoming goods.
• Registration and updating of goods in the company’s IT systems.
• Warehouse counts and ongoing inventory control.
• Booking of transport as well as follow-up and coordination with carriers and freight companies.
• Coordination of spare parts in collaboration with warehouse, purchasing and sales.

Your profile

We expect that you have a relevant education in warehousing and logistics or experience from a similar position.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge of international shipments and shipping documentation, but it is not a requirement.

As ITW GSE is an international company, part of the daily communication takes place in English. Therefore it is important that you have a basic level in both written and spoken English.

As a person you are flexible, proactive and service-minded.

• Familiar with IT systems.
• Has a forklift license B and a regular driver's license (category B).
• Works independently and can plan and prioritize your tasks.

• Knows Danish in writing and speaking.

Practical information

Working hours: During training, working hours are Monday to Thursday 07:00–15:00 and Friday 07:00–14:30. After training, there is the possibility of flexitime within daytime hours.

Start date: As soon as possible.

Employment process: Try & Hire arrangement with a view to permanent hire.

Salary: Attractive salary in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
