Warehouse and Logistics Worker with a Full Driving License

Would you like to help service teachers and educators with consultancy services and teaching materials? In the Lending Collection we transport teaching materials daily to the schools with our trucks. These teaching materials consist of both books in class sets, but also laser cutters, 3D printers and programmable robots.

The Lending Collection in the Center for Educational Materials (CFU) is the core of our service, where we handle loans of teaching materials and materials to all institutions in Region Zealand. The Lending Collection ensures in close collaboration with subject consultants that our collection is modern and meets today’s requirements for relevant teaching materials. This includes responsibility for procurement, cataloging, preparing, maintenance of various materials as well as logistics of dispatch.

We are also responsible for ensuring that institutions receive the materials they have ordered via mitCFU - https://mitcfu.dk/. Our travel arrangement ensures delivery to institutions weekly, and we proudly serve 600 institutions and schools in the area.

Your profile

We are looking for you who thrive with

• driving out to schools and meeting many different people during a day
• working purposefully with tasks such as packing new material boxes for loan
• entering into a close committed collaboration with colleagues
• being flexible in periods regarding tasks.

Furthermore, it is a requirement that you have a driver’s license for a truck.

Your tasks

You will work both in our Lending Collection in Sorø and transport teaching materials out to the schools.

In the Lending Collection our warehouse consists of two automated storage systems, which we operate with a digital warehouse management system, and a pallet warehouse, which is also integrated into the digital system. In the Lending Collection the tasks consist of packing teaching materials for schools, noting materials that have been borrowed, and ensuring that labeling and logistics solutions are found for new sets in close collaboration with our librarians and subject consultants.

Your colleagues

The Lending Collection is part of Facility Service. In the Lending Collection in Sorø you will join a team of 8-9 other colleagues, where daily life is characterized by good humor, an informal tone and occasionally very varied tasks. It is not far from thought to action, and we only use what we usually do when it makes sense. We are fond of cake and prioritize solving big and small tasks every day over a shared cup of coffee - on Fridays with bread.

We have close collaboration in the Center for Educational Materials (CFU), where you become part of a community with about 30 colleagues, including subject consultants for the topics in primary school, course secretaries and librarians. We are weekly present at four different locations:

• The Lending Collection in Sorø
• Resource Center Slagelse
• Information Collection in Vordingborg
• Resource Center Roskilde

• Employment is according to the applicable agreement for the state area.
• The position is full-time, and we would like you to start no later than 1 January 2027.
• Depending on background and experience, a expected monthly salary is between DKK 28,000 and DKK 30,000. In addition there is a pension contribution of 15%.
