ABOUT RENTEQ

RENTEQ is a Danish growth company with about 60 employees at two locations in Dragør and Gedved. Our core competence is electrification of diesel engines and mobile charging solutions for various purposes.

We are well on our way from startup to scale-up and are now ready to strengthen our finance function to ensure a solid and well-functioning foundation under continued growth.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on finance professional who can take daily ownership of our bookkeeping and provide management with a solid and reliable overview of liquidity, receipts and disbursements.

You will report directly to the CFO and become a central sparring partner for the entire management team. You have an eye for detail, but also thrive on putting the numbers in a larger context and making concrete suggestions on how we ensure healthy and continued growth. This is a role that will be defining for the future financial setup and with great influence on the building of future processes and workflows.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ongoing liquidity management and forecasts, so we always have an overview of cash going out and in
• Securing short-term capital to manage fluctuations (overdraft facility, factoring, leasing or other short-term financing)
• Invoicing customers
• Budgeting and ongoing follow-up on budget vs. actual
• Monthly and quarterly reporting to management and the board
• Responsibility for bookkeeping, year-end closing and collaboration with external auditor
• Operation and further development of our system landscape: e-conomic (bookkeeping), Carbon (ERP) and HubSpot (sales/CRM)
• Automation of reporting and data linking between systems, preferably with AI tools.

WE EXPECT YOU TO

• Have solid, practical experience with bookkeeping and financial management in manufacturing and/or development companies – preferably from a growth or scale-up company
• Have hands-on experience with cash flow forecasting and management of liquidity and short-term capital
• Have experience with budgeting, auditing and management reporting
• Familiarity with e-conomic or similar bookkeeping systems and preferably ERP systems such as Carbon
• Have interest in and preferably experience with system integration and use of AI tools in reporting
• Work independently and take ownership, while maintaining a close and trust-based dialogue with the organization
• Hands-on attitude and a positive approach to challenges
• Is structured and solution-oriented and translates numbers into clear actionable recommendations.

PRACTICAL

Full-time position with start as soon as possible.

Work location is Dragør and possibly home working to be agreed and planned according to tasks.
