About the job

If you are focused on working with children's opportunities to be part of communities, including educational and class communities, then this may be the job for you.

We are expanding our local staff group who work with well-being, support and AKT. Your professional background could be, for example, a teacher or educator, or perhaps something else, but your competencies and experiences relate to working with children and children’s opportunities to participate in school.

What we are looking for is a new colleague who can collaborate with the school's other pedagogical staff to create the best possible conditions for participation in the school's activities, especially with a focus on participation in teaching and breaks, but also participation in the school community in general. We do this, among other things, by organizing middle forms, preventive interventions in the classes, and pedagogical interventions regarding specific children and groups of children.

All of our pedagogical interventions focus on the child's ability to participate in the class and school community.

At the school we have organized our actions within well-being, support and AKT in a local resource team, which collaborates with the school's class- and year-group teams in various contexts. In addition, the local resource team collaborates with the school's other resource persons, e.g. reading and mathematics advisors, as well as with external resource persons, e.g. psychologists, social workers, etc.

We are looking for a teacher, educator or other pedagogical staff member who

  • preferably has experience with pedagogical work within AKT
  • will contribute knowledge and inspiration to colleagues
  • has concrete experience with specific pedagogical approaches in interventions
  • is focused on creating safe and clear teaching environments for all students
  • wants to engage in a rewarding and committed teamwork collaboration
  • is engaged, flexible and professionally competent

At Gildbro School we offer you, among other things

  • engaged and approachable colleagues and a leadership that supports you
  • a school where community is essential and there is always a focus on well-being and academic attainment
  • opportunity for influence as well as personal and professional development
  • good physical facilities and good opportunities for developing teaching environments and subject rooms
  • a strong professional network across the municipality's schools
  • work at a school where joint planning in teaching is prioritized, in collaboration with teachers and educators

Gildbro School aims to be known for

  • that community is our strength, and well-being and academic attainment go hand in hand
  • high professionalism and inspiring learning environments
  • a good working environment for both students and staff
  • democracy and influence
  • to be innovative and development-oriented

Gildbro School consists of two tracks from 0–9 year groups, the municipality's reception classes, grouping arrangement for pupils with special needs, and after-school care (SFO). Every evening, we also welcome all the municipality's children to our common municipal evening club. About 500 pupils attend the school.

Work is organized in self-managing teams at year group and department levels. The school is divided into two departments, Department 1 (0-5 year groups) and Department 2 (6-9 year groups), where a flexible timetable is used for all. The departmental division refers to the school's internal cooperation structures, and we continue to use the concepts of the primary, middle and upper school.

The school prioritizes resource persons and advisers in reading, mathematics, DSA, science, AKT and inclusion, who collaborate with teachers, educators and management to set goals and direction, choose interventions in relation to the school's development and support the good teaching in the classrooms.

If you have questions about the position and would like to visit the school, you are welcome to contact the principal René Aistrup, 29 39 58 27.

Applications with CV and relevant attachments should be sent via the link on the municipality's website no later than Wednesday, 11 November at 12:00. We expect to conduct interviews on an ongoing basis and no later than Tuesday, 17 November, 2026.

Appointment will take effect on January 1, 2027 or by agreement.
