About the job

We are seeking two new colleagues, SAK or medical secretary as part of an upscaling in our secretariat group.

The positions will be 25 hours and 37 hours per week respectively. The positions are to be filled by 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible.

Over the past more than five years, we have implemented the F-ACT model in our district psychiatry and most recently implemented an integrated dual diagnosis treatment offering (IDD). Our F-ACT teams are growing, we are implementing new, recovery-oriented ways of working, a housing team that has doubled its capacity in recent years, new interfaces between somatics and psychiatry, and the establishment of a new cross-disciplinary team. SP conversion in the transition to a new consolidated Region.

All of this calls for good support from our secretaries, and therefore we are now lucky enough to be able to upscale our secretariat group.

Your primary task will be to answer phone calls, receive patients who approach at the door, and administrative tasks such as coding distribution, error lists, various reports and data from SP.

We work from the F-ACT model. The F-ACT model aims to offer more flexible treatment, where we in larger extent have the opportunity to meet the patient in his/her local environment, we have greater capacity to intensify treatment if the patient becomes unstable, and in unstable phases the whole team will take on the task of stabilizing the patient.

Our two ordinary F-ACT teams cover the geographical area of Holbæk, Kalundborg, and Odsherred municipalities. Each F-ACT team covers at least 2 municipalities, so you will also have colleagues you do not sit with physically on a daily basis and you will therefore experience meeting the team virtually 4 days a week and one day a week everyone is gathered on the same site.

Collaboration with relatives, municipalities, substance misuse centers and social psychiatry is highly valued and we have great respect for one another, as well as curiosity about how we can strengthen our cooperation around common citizens even more. You will be part of a team consisting of several professional groups, namely: chief physician, chief psychologist, nurses, social educator, occupational therapist, social worker, peer worker, and secretaries.

We also have a housing team that covers Holbæk, Kalundborg, Odsherred, Slagelse, Ringsted, and Sorø municipalities, and in addition we have a cross-disciplinary psychiatric team (TPT) which has its employment base in the District Psychiatry Holbæk, but their daily activities are at Holbæk Hospital.

Your qualifications

We are seeking 2 medical secretaries or SAKs, preferably with experience in psychiatry and preferably with knowledge of SP. You must be able to plan and structure your work independently. You must be able to stay calm, maintain good humor in a busy day with many administrative tasks and responses to numerous phone calls. You must have an interest in involving the patient, the relatives and other relevant collaborators in the treatment.

We offer

  • A dynamic and engaged staff group
  • An workplace where supervision, well-being and a good working environment are prioritized
  • Good opportunities for professional development, collegial sparring and interdisciplinary conferences
  • A high degree of independence and the possibility to help plan your everyday life
  • Room for differences and a “high ceiling”
  • Onboarding: you will be welcomed with an introductory program, a mentor arrangement and planned conversations with your immediate supervisor.

We are in a workplace where we strive to take good care of patients and each other. In this context it is important that the staff group possesses empathy and social understanding, the ability to remain calm in pressured situations, and prioritizes dialogue, where smiles and humor can often be a good lever.

We receive citizens over 18 years of age from Holbæk, Kalundborg and Odsherred municipalities for outpatient psychiatric treatment, as well as patients in housing facilities from Slagelse, Ringsted and Sorø municipalities. We currently have about 750 patients. The staff group consists of nurses, specialized nurses, senior doctors, specialists, psychologists, clinical psychologists, social workers, educators, peer workers and medical secretaries.

You will become part of Psychiatry West under Mid and West Zealand Hospital
