Do you have a solid grasp of vertical turning – or would you like to gain it – and do you thrive seeing raw workpieces transformed into finished quality products between your hands? Then you could very well be the next colleague we are looking for for the night shift at our workshop in Brønderslev. We are a company with a good mood, down-to-earth tone and focus on propriety, and we currently need an employee for our vertical turning lathe.

Here you will have a daily routine where the pace is steady, the tasks vary, and where you’re happy to lend a hand to each other. You will become an important part of the production and get to work close to the machines, where you can see the result of your work immediately.

What you will be doing

In this role you will operate our vertical turning lathe and be involved in the whole process around the workpieces. You will become a key person in ensuring that we deliver high quality on time, without compromising on safety and order. You will receive training in our way of doing things, so you become confident with the tasks.

Your typical tasks will include

• Operation, monitoring and adjustment of the vertical turning lathe during production
• Setting up workpieces, clamping and checking that programs and tools fit the task
• Ongoing quality control and measurement of workpieces so tolerances and requirements are met
• Troubleshooting simple production problems and close dialogue with colleagues if something is troublesome
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of the machine and workspace so it is safe and tidy
• Collaboration with the rest of the production team on planning and prioritizing tasks

We are looking for a colleague who takes responsibility for their work and is curious to become more skilled. You do not need to be an expert in vertical turning, but it is a big advantage if you already have machine experience and are used to working practically and technically.

We imagine that you

• Have knowledge of turning or CNC machines, preferably with production experience
• Have worked in production or in a workshop for at least one year
• Can read simple technical drawings and use common measuring tools
• Work in a structured way and can keep a cool head when there are several tasks underway
• Are punctual, take responsibility and contribute to a good working atmosphere
• Speak and understand Danish at a level that allows you to follow instructions and safety rules
