Workshop Manager

Our client is an established company in Southwest Jutland within maintenance and repair of heavier moving equipment. The workshop is known for its high quality and efficiency, and for delivering solid service to customers.

The job

As workshop manager you will have the overall responsibility for the daily operations and you will be the leader of a workshop foreman and his/her team in a three-shift operation with 20+ skilled employees. You must ensure that the workflows are efficient and that activities meet a high standard of quality and safety; as well as further develop the workshop's good team spirit.

Primary tasks will be

• leadership and development of the workshop's foreman and his/her employees on the shift teams
• planning and coordination of work tasks
• ensuring high quality in the work performed
• monitoring and optimization of work processes
• handling of customer contact and ensuring customer satisfaction
• responsibility for the workshop's budget and finances
• compliance with safety and environmental standards

About you, we expect that you…

• have a relevant technical education
• have experience leading a larger team, preferably within maintenance and servicing of heavier moving equipment; but not a necessity
• are structured and good at planning and organizing
• have strong communication and collaboration skills
• are results-oriented and can work independently
• have knowledge of applicable safety and environmental standards
