We are seeking an engaged and development-oriented instructor for a 3-year, fixed-term, full-time position with start on January 1, 2027.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to educate skilled workers in care, health, and pedagogy while contributing to the development of the school's learning environments, teaching methods, and youth culture.

We are seeking an instructor with a strong health-professional profile who can bring their professional expertise into teaching and actively contribute to the school's ongoing development. You are motivated to create practice-oriented, engaging, and workshop-oriented teaching that supports students' academic, personal, and social development.

About the position

The position will primarily be attached to our Social and Health Education programs

• Foundation programs
• Social and Health Care Helper Education (SSH)

In addition, it is expected that you can teach across classes, subjects, and programs in accordance with the school's Helix model, where cooperation, knowledge sharing, and cross-cutting learning and task solving are central elements of the pedagogical practice.

Teaching will include topics among others within

• Health promotion, prevention, and rehabilitation
• Welfare technology and digital solutions in welfare professions
• Ergonomics, working environment, and patient handling
• Future elderly care and team collaboration in light of the elderly reform
• The professional meeting with the citizen and related: Citizen autonomy, self-determination and involvement, as well as quality of life and the good everyday life

You will furthermore play an important role in the work to

• contribute to students' well-being, learning and belonging
• manage exams, assessments, and other evaluation tasks
• cooperate with training placements, municipalities and other practice actors
• contribute to the development of the school's pedagogical and didactic practice
• assist in the development of learning environments focusing on practice-oriented teaching, simulation and welfare technology
• strengthen the school's youth environment and contribute to the development of attractive learning communities for young students in vocational education
• participate in cross-cutting development and quality work at the school

We are looking for a colleague who

• has a relevant health-professional profile
• has knowledge of the social, health and education sector
• has relevant post- or continuing education at diploma, master's or kandidat level, preferably within the vocational education field
• has strong pedagogical and didactic competencies
• has experience with or strong foundations for classroom management
• masters differentiated teaching and can create participation opportunities for different student groups
• can teach workshop-oriented and work with facilitative teaching, practice and training activities as well as reflection processes
• is committed to young people's learning, well-being and community, and would like to actively contribute to the development of the school's youth environment
• is a team player and can actively contribute in professional learning communities while also working independently with a view to common solutions.
• has initiative, hands-on approach and a desire for development and can quickly understand new tasks and educational contexts, including planning, implementing and evaluating teaching with high professional quality

Experience from the vocational education area is an advantage but not a requirement.

Employment terms

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
