2 experienced social and health care assistants for a newly started shielded 2:1 offer

In Ellekilde – part of Gladsaxe Disability Services – we are launching a sheltered offer with a 2:1 staffing ratio. We are now looking for experienced staff who want to join from the start.

A resident moves in in need of massive support for relationship building, structure and predictability. The work requires high professionalism, calm and clarity – and at the same time provides opportunities for real deepening and continuity in the effort.

The task

You will be responsible for

• Build a stable and trusting relationship
• Create clear structure and preventive frameworks
• Work systematically on the development and maintenance of skills
• Prevent and manage outwardly aggressive behaviour based on low arousal
• Document purposefully and ensure professional progression
• Engage in close collaboration with the team, relatives and partners.
• Health-professional sparring regarding the other residents in our department

We are looking for you, who

• Are trained social and health assistant with solid experience in developmental disabilities with complex problems and behaviour
• Can contribute with a health-professional perspective
• Have extensive knowledge of autism, ADHD and structure pedagogy
• Work methodically, reflective and strong in documentation
• Can maintain calm and professionalism in complex situations
• Have a high awareness of one’s own boundaries and professional role
• Wish to shape a new offer from the start.

The workplace is located in calm surroundings in Kongens Lyngby.

The positions are for full-time and weekend work every 3 weeks, although in the first months there may be overnight work.

Salary and terms of employment follow the applicable collective agreement.

The position is 37 hours. If a full-time position is not right for you, we are happy to discuss another number of hours.
