About the child

A sweet and intelligent 7-year-old boy who lives with his parents and his younger sister in Kastrup. He has been diagnosed with autism and attends a regular school. When he is not at school, he enjoys spending his time at home playing and watching YouTube. He has a nerdy side and has many interests in gaming and games. When energy allows, he loves going on outings to various museums and activity centers. He likes animals, and the family has guinea pigs.

He needs structured frameworks where certain routines are followed. Changes of activities can be difficult for him, and a reaction may occur.

About the task

You will be 1:1 with the boy, where you together engage in cozy activities, both in and outside the home.

Initially it will primarily be in the family’s home, where you will play games together or do other indoor activities. When you have gotten to know each other well, you will together take pleasant trips to museums, The Blue Planet, the zoo, etc.

Working hours

Working hours will be every other Sunday from 11:00 to 15:00. The hours may vary according to agreement with the parents. The workload will be a maximum of 4 hours every other week.

About you

You are good at creating safe and predictable frameworks.

You may have experience working with children with autism.

You must be engaged and stable so that you can build a good and secure relationship.
