Do you want to make a difference in a boy's life and be an important part of his daily life one day a week for 2 hours?

We are looking for a steady adult who, with calm, structure and humor, can support Malte in his development and activities – and at the same time take an active role as a trustworthy and stable support for him.

Malte is a lively, funny and creative boy with a big personality and lots of energy. Malte has ADHD and needs an adult who can support him, among other things with regulating and structuring the many fun things that Malte wants to do.

He loves physical activities, music, circus, swimming, clowning and fishing. He is very trusting, but has difficulty assessing potential dangers and the consequences of his actions. He feels his own body most when he is engaged in sport – a firm hug, for example, makes a big difference for him.

Malte currently has 1:1 support once on a weekday and once on a weekend day each week, which he greatly enjoys. The family is therefore looking forward to welcoming a new adult with energy and physical vitality.

You will become part of Malte's daily life and help with

• Activities 2 hours on a weekday: you pick up Malte from school at 14:00 and are with him for 2 hours.
• Activities tailored to Malte's daily form together with his mother – it can be physical activities such as cycling, fishing, swimming, ball games or calm activities like creative coziness, such as board games, Lego or shaping things in clay. The family has a cargo bike without electric motor that you can use.
• Provide safety and structure – help Malte choose between 2–3 possible activities. He may have difficulty with free choice if what he chooses cannot be done.

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience with children with ADHD
• Is active, confident and calm – and not afraid to be a little playful
• Can set clear, caring boundaries and assess and implement when a calm pause is needed
• Maybe has an educational background – but it is not a requirement if you have experience with ADHD children in another way
