A social and health care assistant primarily in the evening shift and one in mixed shifts for Lindholm Nursing Home

Lindholm is a lovely nursing home north of the fjord with room for 30 residents.

The residents are primarily elderly people with somatic illnesses; in addition we have our dementia ward with 10 residents. At Lindholm, the emphasis on being in charge of one\'s own life and home is high, which we support in daily life.

You will join a team of competent social- and health care assistants (SOSU), a nurse and a physiotherapist. Work in the house with freedom under responsibility, and there is an expectation of taking responsibility for task execution.

Collaboration and professional competence are highly valued.

A little about the position

• We are seeking 2 social- and health care assistants
• The positions are initially 37 hours per week
• You will be employed in either predominantly evening shifts or mixed shifts
• Work every 2nd weekend

Professional competencies

Educated social- and health care assistant with authorization who can perform nursing care for patients in stable conditions, in close cooperation with the nurse and the nursing home doctor in complex and acute cases.

Must be able to coordinate interventions around the patient through early detection and involvement of the patient and their network.

Salary and employment terms

According to the current collective bargaining agreement for social- and health personnel (73.01) which is concluded between KL and the FOA union.

Prior to final employment, a criminal record must be provided and references obtained.
