Åløkkeparken Nursing Home is seeking both qualified and unskilled on-call substitutes

Are you interested in working with elderly people in a nursing home where we collaborate for the best possible well-being together with the residents?

• Then Åløkkeparken in Brobyværk can offer you a job as an on-call substitute alongside your studies or job. If you have retired/pensioned, you are also welcome to apply as an on-call substitute.

We are looking for colleagues who are trained social and health care helpers or social and health care assistants, as well as those without formal training. You may also be currently studying in the field, for example nursing students.

Nursing home Åløkkeparken

Åløkkeparken has a total of 48 residents spread across six smaller living units with eight apartments in each. In addition, we have a respite department. There is a cozy and homely atmosphere in the individual houses. We work in small teams with a high degree of self-determination, while also carrying out activities together across units for the benefit of residents and colleagues.

Respite at Åløkkeparken

In respite, we create a safe and pleasant place for citizens with dementia who are relieved from their own homes. We have 6 rotating respite places where residents come from Monday to Friday every 3rd or 6th week.

About the position

Your tasks will include among other things to

• Contribute to coherence in residents’ trajectories through good observations and documentation of them. We work in Nexus, so it is an advantage if you know the system; otherwise there is good opportunity for training
• Maintain contact with residents, relatives and partners
• Medication handling to a certain extent
• Coordinate and perform tasks within basic care and rehabilitation
• Coordinate tasks and information between teams

About you

We are looking for substitutes who are caring and have their heart in the right place, and who demonstrate it in their interactions with residents. In addition, we would like you to:

• Be reliable and flexible
• Be willing to learn new things and be prepared to be challenged in tasks you do not know yet
• Have experience in collaboration and take shared responsibility for the whole
• Be able to reflect on your own practice and adjust work according to residents’ needs
• Have your own transport, as you cannot use public transport for meeting times
• Good Danish skills both spoken and written
