Do you have a service mindset, technical understanding and a sense for coordination? And would you use your experience from retail, warehouse or case handling to help colleagues across the country? Then become part of our Claims Service at the head office in Aarhus!

At Lidl we believe that a strong sense of community and close cooperation create the best results. In the Claims Service department we receive and process damage reports from our stores and distribution centers across Denmark. We are looking for a dedicated maternity leave cover starting as soon as possible and lasting until September 2027, who will help ensure our operations run optimally every day.

Meet your #teamlidl

You will become part of a close Claims Service team of 7 colleagues , anchored in Facility Management with a total of 30 employees. Our department is known for an informal work environment characterized by high professional sparring, humor and strong team spirit, where you can always ask for help.

'The best thing about my job is that no day is the same. As a case handler, I act as the link between stores, external partners and our own departments, which has given me a unique insight into how we create and maintain our stores. I always arrive at the office with a smile, because here we solve tasks together, and there is always room to learn something new and have fun while doing it.'

  • Lærke, Administrator in Facility Management

About the job

As Administrator in Claims Service you will be an indispensable link between our stores, warehouses, external partners and internal project managers. Your main tasks include:

  • Case handling and coordination: You receive, process and coordinate reported damages, deficiencies and repairs from stores and warehouses.
  • Vendor contact and quotes: You follow up on orders and approve invoices from partners and obtain quotes for larger repairs.
  • System handling and support: You manage alerts via our internal systems and provide friendly and competent assistance to colleagues via our service phone.
  • Ad hoc tasks: You perform varied administrative tasks and support the department's operational efficiency.

About you

We are looking for a colleague who meets others at eye level and remains calm and in control – even when pace is high:

  • Experience and service mindset: You have experience from retail, warehouse or a similar role as a case handler. You are driven to provide good, solution-oriented service to both internal colleagues and external partners.
  • Structured and independent: You work diligently, take responsibility and are not afraid to make independent decisions in daily work.
  • IT flair and communication: You have good technical understanding (or willingness to learn), and it helps if you have knowledge of Google Workspace. You are outgoing and communicate effortlessly in both Danish and English.

We offer

  • An informal working environment with professional sparring and motivated colleagues
  • A workday with defined tasks and cross-department collaboration
  • Targeted training in all processes and a mentorship program to give you the best conditions to succeed in the job
  • Unlimited career opportunities and professional challenges
  • Possibility of permanent employment after the maternity cover
  • Attractive pension scheme and health package
  • Discount scheme with several providers of travel, shopping, culture, etc.
