Evening District Nurse in Hvidovre Home Care and Nursing, District South

Are you a licensed nurse with a desire for responsibility, independence and varied tasks? Then you now have the opportunity to become part of the evening shift team in Hvidovre Municipality Home Care.

As the evening nurse you will have an important role in ensuring citizens' safety and well-being in their own home. You work with clinical assessments, medication administration, acute nursing and palliative care and help make a difference for citizens when the need is greatest. The position involves responsibility for both planning and execution of care tasks, where your clinical judgment and ability to act quickly are crucial.

We are looking for a nurse who is professionally grounded or has a strong desire to work within home care and nursing. As the responsible nurse you can work independently, maintain an overview in complex situations and take clinical leadership. At the same time you thrive in interdisciplinary collaboration and actively contribute to knowledge sharing and joint task solving.

Empathy and citizen focus are a natural part of your approach. You are present, listen to both citizens and relatives and work purposefully to create safety and quality in care. Since everyday life can be unpredictable, it is important that you are flexible, adaptable and responsible.

We are organized into three districts, with a common base in the same building. You will work in a team with one nursing colleague, where you together plan your shift and create security for the citizens.

In Hvidovre Home Care and Nursing we also work on implementing the Elderly Act and we have an ambition to develop nursing for the benefit of the citizens. As the evening nurse you have an important role in this work.

Practical information

The position follows a 7/7 rotation with odd weeks

The position requires that you have a category B driving licence.

Working hours are from 15:00-23:30.
