AI specialist – build solutions that make a measurable difference

Do you want to translate AI into solutions that improve how we deliver and operate critical systems? And are you keen to work with models, evaluation and secure implementation in a team that can take ideas all the way to production?

At Netic we are looking for an AI specialist for our new dedicated AI team. We will start with concrete workflows where AI can reduce lead times and rework, increase quality and free up time for our specialists. The effect must be measurable, and the solutions must work in daily operations.

Take responsibility for AI implementation and evaluation You will become a specialist in a team with a technical lead and a software/platform engineer. Together with colleagues across Netic you explore where AI can be most useful, develop solutions and follow up on whether they create the expected effect.

Your tasks will include

• Choose, adapt and implement AI models for specific tasks and workflows.
• Develop evaluations that show the quality, limitations and practical effect of the solutions.
• Work with open-weight models and local inference where data, security and operations requirements make it relevant.
• Collaborate with the team to make AI solutions stable, observable and suitable for production.
• Brainstorm with subject matter experts about needs, results and the choices behind the solutions.
• Contribute to clarifying which AI capabilities may be included in customer solutions in the long term.

You should be eager to both dive into the technology and understand the workflows it should help.

You already have a solid toolbox We are looking for someone who has practical experience building solutions with modern AI models. You can work systematically with evaluation and believe that a promising demonstration only has value when the solution is reliable and usable in a real workflow.

We expect you to contribute concrete experiences in the following categories

• Model implementation and adaptation, for example with PyTorch and Hugging Face Transformers - and you’ll be excited if someone says GLM-5.2!
• Local inference and model serving, for example with vLLM or SGLang
• Evaluation and quality assurance, for example with PromptFoo or Ragas
• Orchestration of AI agents and workflows, for example with LangGraph, LlamaIndex Workflows or Haystack

You do not need to have worked with exactly the infrastructure or models we end up choosing. The most important is that you can take professional responsibility for the models used and learn together with the team.
