Bavnebakkeskolen is a four‑track public school. The school is located in the centre of Støvring town with easy access to public transport. We have about 850 students distributed across year 0–9.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking another AKT – advisor for our competence center.

You must be close to practice and help create strong communities and good participation opportunities for all children, and you should be able to facilitate guidance and to “disturb” practice when the situation calls for it.

You should not sit on the sidelines

We believe the best guidance happens close to the reality it needs to make a difference in.

You should want to observe a class, participate in an activity, work with a group of children, spar with a teacher or pedagogue and together with the team find new ways.

We expect you to contribute to team meetings, come with new ideas and contribute to analyses that lead to new courses of action.

Your toolbox must be large

With us you will work with many different tasks.

You should, among other things

• support class communities and groups of children
• observe and examine what happens in practice
• provide professional sparring to teachers, pedagogues and teams
• facilitate reflective spaces for your colleagues
• help find new courses of action when something is difficult
• support work with wellbeing, participation and inclusion
• facilitate difficult conversations – also when there are different perspectives at the table
• participate in and contribute to parent meetings and parent collaboration
• work both preventively and concretely around children and communities
• help translate professional perspectives into something tangible in everyday life.

You will become an important player in Vision 2030

As a guidance counselor you will be part of the school's work with Rebild Municipality's Vision 2030.

The Vision should be visible in the children's everyday life, that we every day work to create a school that can do more for more.

We imagine that you...

Have a relevant pedagogical or social science background and preferably experience with wellbeing, inclusion, guidance or special education.

But even more important is that you

• can keep a cool head when things get tough.

• You can see both the individual child and the big picture.
