Maternity substitute - 1st grade teacher at Skibet School

We need a maternity cover as soon as possible and therefore are looking for a new, lovely person to take over the position full-time for about 9-12 months. You must be a Danish teacher in our 1st grade, where you work closely with the mathematics teacher and the pedagog (educator) in a form of co-teaching, where you also share the form-class teacher duties.

We are looking for a teacher for 1st grade in the general part who

• has a teaching degree with Danish as a major and preferably experience with the target group,
• has an appreciative approach and can create clear structure and predictability in the learning space,
• is passionate about making a difference – both for the community and for the individual student through participatory didactics,
• is responsible, stable and collaborates well with colleagues, parents and other partners,
• is curious and reflective in your professional approach – also when daily life challenges you,
• works academically with a view to the students' development opportunities and has ambitions for them through, among other things, joint topics across the year group.

Skibet School is a public school where community, professionalism and well-being go hand in hand.

The school has about 400 students, distributed across an ordinary department with about 320 students from 0th to 6th grade and a special department with about 80 students from 0th to 10th grade.

Terms of employment

Employment is in accordance with the collective agreement for teachers and others in the public schools. The expected starting full-time salary excluding pension and teaching allowance is DKK 34,885. It should be noted that final placement, including collective agreement basis and salary level, will be determined based on your education and qualifications and the specific offered full-time maternity substitute position.
