A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I am 26 years old, living in my own apartment in Odense. On a day-to-day basis I work in Middelfart, where I sit as a Security Specialist in an IT house.

As a person I am honest, possess a good amount of self-irony and generally easy to be around.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a helper you will, not surprisingly, be a big part of my everyday life and accompany me to everything from daily chores to social events.

I therefore place great emphasis on you not just being sat on a chair in the corner, but being a natural part of the social. It also requires tact, as you are still at work, and sometimes I will ask you to step back a little.

In everyday life you also accompany me at my work. Here you must be able to entertain yourself in periods, as I, for good reasons, cannot provide the entertainment while I work.

TASKS

I need help with all the practical things in daily life, including

• Cooking (you do not necessarily need to be a trained chef, but it is an advantage if you can find your way around a kitchen)
• Eating and drinking
• Undressing and dressing
• Personal care
• Driving my car. You must have a driver's license and be comfortable driving a somewhat larger car
• The many small and large hands-on assistance tasks that arise during the day

ABOUT YOU

I imagine you are between 25 and 35 years old, but that is not a requirement. Furthermore, I would like you to have had a job before, so you know what it means to show up on time and take responsibility for your tasks.

You are flexible and can cope when things sometimes go a bit fast. You can accept constructive criticism, but you also dare to express your own opinion. And you are good at seeing what needs to be done. If the floor needs vacuuming, you simply bring out the vacuum without waiting for me to say so.

You do not need to have experience as a helper beforehand, as you will of course receive thorough training so you feel secure in the tasks.

Helpers are sought for both day and night shifts, and as a starting point you will have both. The shift change is at 07:00 and 19:00 every day of the week:

• Day shift: 07:00–19:00
• Night shift: 19:00–07:00. It is a waking night shift, as I sleep with a CPAP machine due to sleep apnea.

You will as a disability helper become part of a good, flexible and essential team of disability helpers who together cover all shifts year-round. The job takes place in the citizen's own home, for leisure activities, social events and the excursions the citizen would like to participate in.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Driver's license – manual transmission
• Flexible
• Independent
• Have respect for and understanding of working in a private home
• Can tolerate dogs

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

• Start date: 04.01.2027
• Part-time: 31 hours per week
