Allerød residential facility seeks competent social pedagogues for Solvænget

We are seeking qualified social educators or social- and health care assistants.

The working hours for the position are alternating between day and evening shifts with work every third weekend - and

on holidays.

The positions are, as a rule, full-time, but we are open to other preferences. Start as soon as possible or no later than January 1, 2027 (we hold ongoing interviews).

About us

Allerød Home for Housing is an organization consisting of 4 residential facilities; Solvænget, Skovbo, Skovmosen and Frederiksborgvej. Solvænget is located centrally in Allerød, a 5-minute walk from the station. The residence is established under the Danish Housing Act section 105, and the support is provided under the Social Services Act section 85, which concerns social-pedagogical support.

The target group is adults between 18 and 65 years who are primarily challenged by intellectual disability and ASD. Some also have physical disabilities. Most residents require guidance and some assistance with personal care and ADL tasks.

We work within a structured framework, where we work goal-oriented and person-centered, with an appreciative and relationship-based pedagogical approach and Low Arousal. We are a workplace where ICT is given high priority, which means there is a focus on various communication/structure aids, such as GoTalk Now, MemoAssist, etc.

We work with the health module, and the 12 nursing-related problem areas as well as VUM2.

We have a strong focus on good collaboration - and the working environment in the house, and generally work from the value of having a high social capital in everyday life. We see differences as a strength, both in terms of competencies and personality profiles.

Residents' participation and influence are an integral part of everyday life, and there is therefore a focus on residents actively participating in their own lives according to their abilities and competencies. We work to motivate and invite the resident into the community. Sometimes residents' participation is at one end of the spectrum and caregiving obligations at the other end. By using our professional expertise, we pedagogically balance these considerations, with the resident's development at the center.

About the position

You will become part of the interdisciplinary team at Solvænget with pedagogical staff, health care staff, regular night shifts, trainee pedagogues, health care coordinator, pedagogical coordinator, duty planner and a department head. At Solvænget we are a united team, each of us has a number of citizens we are contacts for, balanced with common activities and cross-cutting tasks. We place great emphasis on good cooperation with relatives. At the same time you will become part of the entire organization Allerød botilbud in Allerød Municipality.

Salary and employment terms will be fixed according to the applicable collective agreement for social educators/ social- and health care assistants.
