Then you may be our new colleague in Policy and Development in the social and labor market area in Randers Municipality.

About the job

As a consultant in Policy and Development you will both support politicians and the management team as well as be a link out to the operations in the social and labor market area.

The primary tasks in the position will be project management of investment projects that are part of the implementation of the Strategic Plan for the Future Randers Municipality.

In the projects there is a particular focus on goals to help more citizens become self-sufficient and to help more young people in education and employment cf. Ungeløftet.

Your tasks will primarily be

• Project management of development tasks, particularly investment projects
• Implementation of political decisions e.g. in the context of the employment reform
• Planning and execution of larger and smaller processes in collaboration with the subject areas
• Preparation of briefs, memorandums, recommendations and analyses for management and the political level
• Advocacy/representation in the social and labor market area
• Support of meetings and working groups
• Ad hoc case handling.

Policy and Development is one of two departments in a joint secretariat for Social and Labor Market. The secretariat consists in total in the two departments of about 45 employees, including a larger team of consultants, of which you will be a part. The department is characterized by close cooperation between the consultants and the management team with a view to ensuring the most optimal support for both operations and the political level.

Your profile

In Policy and Development we are looking for an ambitious colleague who is analytically strong, solution-oriented and motivated by translating complex issues into concrete solutions and results.

• have experience with project management and process control and can ensure progress
• have a sense of creating ownership and engagement among leaders and employees
• have knowledge of and preferably experience with tools such as change theories and business cases
• have an understanding of data and preferably experience in using data in development and decision-making processes
• are good at structuring and planning larger processes, and have an eye for both detail and the whole
• write clearly and precisely and can communicate complex material to different audiences
• have calm and overview, but thrive in an environment with tight deadlines
• thrive in working independently while also being able to build good collaborative relationships across professional and personnel groups
• actively contribute to a good working environment characterized by cooperation, helpfulness, humor and respect for each other\'s areas of expertise
• have a Master\'s degree in social sciences - preferably (but not necessarily) experience in the social or labor market area

Salary and employment terms

The position is to be filled as of 1 January 2027.

Salary and terms will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
