Apprentice sausage maker wanted - Vojens

Do you have an interest in food and good craftsmanship, and do you dream of becoming a skilled sausage maker? Then you now have the opportunity to train at E. Lampe Pølsegården in Vojens.

Lead The Talent is seeking on behalf of E. Lampe Pølsegården an apprentice sausage maker.

Tasks and training

As an apprentice at E. Lampe Pølsegården you will become part of the production, where you learn to produce sausages and specialties with a focus on quality, flavor and good craftsmanship.

You will learn, among other things, to

• Produce different types of sausages by mixing meat and spices and adjust recipes.
• Prepare mincemeat and filling and bind sausages using machines.
• Preprocess meat, including smoking, curing and marinating it.
• Operate production machines and work with techniques that ensure uniform products.
• Check quality and food hygiene in production.
• Receive raw materials and perform self-inspection.
• Clean machines, tools and production areas.

You will have the opportunity to develop your professional competences through practical work in the company and an apprenticeship as a gourmet butcher with a specialization in sausage making .

The education can, among other things, be taken at Syddansk Erhvervsskole in Vejle.

About the position

• 37 hours per week as a starting point.
• The concrete working hours will be agreed with the company.
• The position is an apprenticeship with pay and employment terms to be agreed .
• School start is expected in August 2027 .

As a rule you should be employed as an unsecured/unskilled employee no later than three months before school start, i.e. from around May 2027. If the right match is found, there is the possibility to start earlier and get to know the company and the tasks before training starts.

There may also be an opportunity to explore whether the education can be carried out as a new master apprenticeship. This must be clarified in collaboration between you, the company and the educational institution.

• Is reliable and can adhere to the agreed working hours.
• Can work both independently and with colleagues.
• Trives with physical and practical work in a production company.
• Is flexible and prepared to solve various tasks.
• Has a responsible approach to quality, hygiene and safety.

You do not need to already be trained as a butcher or sausage maker. The most important is that you want to learn the profession and engage in both the work and the education.

Workplace

The workplace is at E. Lampe Pølsegården ApS , Lysbjergvej 11, 6500 Vojens.

Therefore it is an advantage if you can come to and from work yourself.

You will become part of a South Jutland family business, where you will have the opportunity to learn the profession through practical work in production.
