About the job

Do you have special relationship skills and do you work from a resource-oriented view of children, then you may be our new teacher at Søndervangskolen.

At Søndervangskolen we highly prioritize work on pupil well-being and inclusion. We operate from the philosophy that all children succeed best when the frameworks and resources move into the classrooms. We therefore have inclusion teacher hours and supplementary targeted support hours in all classes and are looking for a teacher who will help lift this task.

In addition to inclusion hours and reading support hours, you will also teach the subjects history and Christianity at the middle level.

The position is a maternity-leave substitute.

We expect that you

· Have a teaching qualification, preferably with history and Christianity

· Are strong in didactics and able to create a safe and motivating learning environment for all students.

· Are a strong team player, who contributes actively and takes initiative in close teamwork.

· Are ready to engage in a close relationship-work with both students and parents.

We offer you

· A workplace with a high professional level and a focus on each individual student’s development, both academically and socially.

· A committed workplace, where we put the children first together and are ambitious on behalf of all students.

· A professional environment where teamwork and professional sparring are a natural part of everyday life.

· A mentoring scheme that ensures you the best start in your new job.

· A flexible workplace with a strong social and professional community among the school's 90 staff. We place the committed communities high at all levels.
