About the job

Would you like to help ensure that our ambulances, paramedics’ and home-visit vehicles are always ready to respond? Then you might be the person we are looking for as our new area heads.

The Prehospital Department has in recent years had an increased focus on subacute patients and tasks, among other things through the retrieval of the on-call doctor task at night and the deployment of single-crew paramedic vehicles.

Therefore we are now seeking a new, professionally strong colleague for our team of area heads on an efficient day/night shift, who can start on 1 February 2027 or by agreement.

You will be employed with your main base at our base on Bautavej, just as you will be attached to 3 fixed relief bases. From the bases you relieve the ambulances, and as needed you will have the opportunity to relieve on our single-crewed units.

That is what we value

We place emphasis on high professionalism, training and development, as well as willingness and desire to succeed with a not fixed defined portfolio of tasks, which will continuously develop.

Competence development of our employees is a focus point for us, and therefore we are looking for you who are focused on and take responsibility for the tasks and for your own professional development and growth.

We also focus on cooperation, well-being and inclusivity. We have a short route from employees to management and in this collaboration there is a focus on influence and working environment. We therefore seek colleagues who want to be part of a strong, collegial community, and who contribute constructively and solution-oriented to an attractive and inclusive workplace.

Who are you?

You are a trained paramedic or ambulance technician with broad operational experience. You must be prepared to undertake the subacute training, and if you are an ambulance technician, you must be ready to be further educated to become a paramedic.

In addition, we value that you

  • Are professionally well-founded and up-to-date within your field, including have shown that you take responsibility for your own professional development and education
  • Find the complex medical patient with potential for prehospital advanced treatment exciting, and have a general interest in the subacute task
  • Can work both alone and in teams and are keen to create cooperative relationships and work across sector borders
  • Find it exciting to test and develop new instructions, equipment as well as professional relationships
  • Have a reassuring demeanor, tone and behavior in meeting both the somatic and the psychiatric patient
  • Find it natural to communicate and collaborate with many different professions
  • Have a pioneering spirit and can contribute to a constructive and solution-oriented collaborative culture across professional groups and organizational affiliations. There will thus be emphasis on your ability to cooperate and contribute to a strong collegial community on the paramedic cars, ambulances and in the Prehospital Department as a whole.

You must have a category B and C driving license.

Please note that a criminal record check and a child certificate will be obtained in connection with the employment.
