Our children’s group is growing, and therefore we are looking for an educator for our kindergarten of 37 hours per week with commencement on January 1, 2027. We are open to agreeing on a different number of hours if it suits you better.

About Børnebyen Havnbjerg

Børnebyen Havnbjerg is a municipal day care institution, normed for 46 Kindergarten children and 20 toddlers. We are part of the Als Daycare Area.

We are a day care where relationships, professional reflection and collaboration are central driving forces in everyday life. We believe that we develop best when we are curious about each other’s practice, share our experiences and together find good solutions to benefit the children.

We are looking for an educator who is passionate about creating safe, present and developing environments for the children, and who wants to be an active part of our community.

• Are a trained educator – recently graduated or experienced.
• Want to work with children aged 0-6 years.
• Are passionate about creating safe and present relationships with the children.
• Are curious about your own practice and open to professional sparring and reflection.
• Contribute positively to the community and the daily joy of work.
• Have a sense of humor and can see the value in us also laughing together in a busy daily life.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with both children, parents and colleagues.
• Have an interest in creating inspiring and developing learning environments.
• See parent collaboration as an important part of the pedagogical core task.
• Are familiar with – or want to learn – digital tools such as TOPI, Hjernen & Hjertet, Aula and Acadre.

We do not expect you to know everything from day one. The most important for us is that you want to learn, contribute with your perspectives and help create a good everyday life for children and adults.

Practical information

• The position is initially 37 hours per week, but the number of hours can be agreed further.

• Employment requires a satisfactory child health certificate and criminal record certificate.
• Salary and terms of employment according to applicable collective agreement and Ny Løn principles.
