Are you passionate about opening students' eyes to the logic of mathematics and the wondrous world of science? And would you like to shape a strong youth environment right from the start? Then we have the perfect position for you at Skovvejens School.

We seek an engaged teacher who will take the lead in mathematics and science primarily for year 7. You get a special role as you help build and shape our newly established 7th grade classes. It gives you a unique opportunity to influence both the academic rigour, well-being, and class culture.

Your main tasks

• Targeted subject focus: Your primary focus will be mathematics and science in year 7, where you can go in-depth and create frameworks for exciting experiments, projects and academic deep dives.
• Extra academic strings to play on: There may be a possibility to have hours as mathematics advisor as well as hours in the school's resource centre, where you support students targeted in mathematics and science.

Your competencies

• You are a qualified teacher with major in mathematics and one or more science subjects
• You thrive in lower secondary and meet the young people at eye level with both academic heft, humor and clear classroom management
• You have an eye for the good classroom community and know how to support new classes academically and socially.

Hiring process and salary

The hiring date is 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible.

We will conduct interviews as we receive applications.

The position is as a 37-hour per week role and is a permanent position.

We offer salary and terms according to the collective agreement for teachers etc. in primary schools in municipalities and according to principles of local wage formation and in agreement with the negotiating organization.

Salary range for the position is 39,726 DKK - 47,314 DKK per month (37 hours)

The salary depends on negotiations between the leader and the professional organization that has the right to negotiate for the applicable agreement.

Salary composition depends on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
