We are called Tuskær.

We live in Fjaltring right out at the North Sea, and we are probably not an entirely ordinary place.

Here art, food, music, nature and people meet.

We are a unique place - a

four-wing dune farm with exhibition rooms, classrooms, possibilities for residencies, a

fantastic art library, an impressive art collection, a well-run organic café

Mad by the Sea, which runs our kitchen – and not least a fantastic team

of volunteers who for many years have invested time and heart in the place.

This year we turn 40. We have a history we are proud of, but we are certainly not done. We

actually believe that Tuskær stands right where a new chapter should begin. And therefore we are seeking

you - someone we can write the next chapter with.

You will, for now, be the only permanent employee, but you are not a lonely rider. You bring together

people and create together with volunteers, board, artists, local community and

new partners.

You ensure everyday life holds together and that the budgets hold. You find

funds for new initiatives, pull activities and exhibitions to the house and get the volunteer plan

to add up. You see opportunities, get ideas and - very importantly - make them happen.

You may be entrepreneurial, visionary and creative. We are looking for someone who wants more

than just keeping the machine running. We are looking for someone who will both take care of Tuskær

and gently shake it up.

We are curious about what your strengths are, what you have done before and what you wish to

bring into the position and how you see that we match each other.

What do we offer?

Short and sweet; We can offer an exciting and versatile leadership position in a unique cultural house

with the roaring North Sea in the backyard. High as the sky. A dedicated team of

volunteers, an engaged board and a house full of history and possibilities to shape

the next Tuskær.

The position is initially a part-time role, 22 hours per week with a monthly salary of

21,000 DKK without pension. The ambition is that you will help ensure more

paid hours for you or a new colleague, together with the board.

Housing may potentially be provided at Tuskær, for rent.

Starting date: from January 1, 2027 - possibility of later start.
