About us

Klokkefrøen is a nature kindergarten housed on a fantastic nature plot in Pjedsted, 8 km from Fredericia. Here we give children the opportunity for daily nature experiences, where their senses are stimulated, attention strengthened, and motor skills developed. We see nature as an invaluable framework for community, language development, as well as learning about ethics and responsibility towards the environment. Klokkefrøen is part of the Ullerupbæk district, which consists of several municipal institutions.

You will become part of a larger pedagogical leadership team, characterized by high professionalism, curiosity about your own and colleagues' practices, room for diversity and help across.

We base ourselves on the municipality's Policy for Children, Youth and Education "Everyday, friendship and gusts of wind" and the strategy "A safe start to life".

In addition, we have common municipal benchmarks such as well-being, linguistic awareness, mathematical awareness and the competencies of the future.

We are seeking an educational leader who is aware of leadership quality that supports high-quality learning environments, high job satisfaction and a good parent collaboration.

You must be a clear and visible leader who guards a professionally competent pedagogical team with an understanding of being employed in a politically led organization.

As an educational leader with us we expect that you

• work pedagogically with a focus on well-being, learning, development and formation of children aged 0-6 years
• set a clear course so that staff know what is expected of them, and what they can expect of you
• are credible in words and actions
• are visible and good at ensuring a working environment based on trust, high communication and information – and presence in your leadership style
• are humble about your own position in collaboration with both staff, parents and other partners
• have a view to integrating the general with the special educational, including ensuring a pedagogical capacity that supports children in vulnerable positions
• can work structured, systematic and follow-up with both operations- and development-oriented tasks.

In the administrative area you should be able to

• work in different systems with support from the district's administrative staff
• work data-based in Rambøll's Hjernen and Hjertet – both in relation to the strengthened curriculum and the pedagogical supervision.

Your professional and personal profile

• You have a drive for presence-based and appreciative pedagogy
• You are pedagogically educated and have experience in leadership
• You have a Diploma in Leadership or are in the process of pursuing it
• You possess initiative and drive
• You are an engaged, empathetic and enthusiastic role model
• You can lead from the front and show courage – even when it gets tough
• You are a team player who can give and receive feedback
• You are systematic and goal-oriented in your task solving
• You are proficient in writing and speaking.
• You possess basic IT skills to solve administrative tasks
• You approach tasks with good morale and high work discipline.

You should be able to see yourself as part of a larger context and understand that your daily management work must reflect Fredericia Municipality's Policy for Children, Youth and Education as well as the municipal strategies and priority areas. In addition, you should be keen to work in a 0-18 year perspective across our district.

Salary and employment terms

In accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the bargaining organization.

A criminal record check will be obtained upon appointment. Employment is conditional on the criminal record being free of notes of significance to the performance of the specific position.

Child certificate

For employment involving work with children and young people, a child certificate will be obtained. Employment is conditional on being able to obtain a child certificate without remarks.
