Bid Manager for social-psychiatric § 79 offer at Center for Activity, Employment and Support in Own Housing (CABS)

This is a truly special leadership opportunity.

You will need your visions, your strategic outlook and your leadership skills as we develop and implement a collection of social-psychiatric activating and preventive offers for citizens over 18 years old. You will be responsible for leading a range of different initiatives that support mentally vulnerable Copenhagen residents to live dignified, meaningful and independent everyday lives. You will not do this alone, but in close collaboration with fellow managers, area manager and skilled co-leading staff.

Our new service leader will, with a relevant professional stance, set the direction for the new organization of the activating and preventive services and at the same time be a visible leader who can support both development and daily operations. The right leader has therefore experience in working with mentally vulnerable adults and a strong drive to set a common direction that meaningfully makes a positive difference for both employees and of course the citizens we collaborate with in the services.

An exciting new organization in a well-established area

You will become part of the Network and Employment area in CABS, an area in rapid development consisting of several services aimed at several target groups. In the services in the new organization you will be part of a dedicated management team, where you, together with two professional leaders, will be responsible for implementing and driving the new organization and setting strategic direction for the area. The services have about 40 employees and 100-120 daily visiting citizens spread across our four addresses, and we have room for more visitors.

The new organization means that we will bring the services Compass Amager and Valby, Ungehus CPH, Gloria Media House and Hotellet under one consolidated organization with one service leader ( read more about the services here ). The goal is to strengthen the organizational, professional and strategic work for the combined activating and preventive services in the social-psychiatric area. The new organization takes effect on January 1, 2027.

The organization enables a more strategic interdisciplinary collaboration with better resource use and a strengthened cooperation with the surrounding civil society and the employment sector.

The service leader position is part of a larger organization

You will work closely with your area manager on operational challenges and professional direction. In addition, you will navigate a complex organization where your collaboration skills are crucial. This applies to promoting our services, professional sparring and maintaining our good and close collaboration with external and internal partners as well as collaboration with internal staff, professional organizations, etc.

We work focused on leadership, and we have, among other things, developed a leadership compass that supports our various leadership tasks at the different levels across the municipality. We work strategically based on the Social Administration’s goals and our own development plans.

You will take on the role of leader

• Through your experience in leading managers as well as co-leading teams and leadership groups and creating good working communities and development opportunities
• By maintaining an overview and ensuring follow-up on strategic initiatives
• By viewing leadership as a collaboration where tasks are delegated in a shared effort
• Through your experience with or strong understanding of working with mentally vulnerable citizens
• Through your experience with the employment field and a burning desire to support citizens on their path to employment or employment-like activities
• By being relationship-strong, inclusive and good at generating followership in the community

Employment terms

The position is full-time with no upper limit on service time. Salary according to the leadership agreement and according to qualifications and experience within the framework of local pay formation.

Expected start date is December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible.
