Pedagogical leader for the nursery department at Børnehuset Lundegården in the Skovvejens district

Then we have an exciting position in a Children's House with a high share of pedagogy. In daily life there is a focus on presence and immersion as well as a good atmosphere, where children and staff thrive.

At Lundegården you can, together with a colleague in leadership, exercise professional, present and acknowledging leadership close to the staff group. Ballerup Municipality prioritises the children's area and that the educators have time for preparation. You are not alone with the leadership task, but you can get sparring and support in your leadership team and the district leader.

Your key tasks

• You oversee pedagogical and personnel leadership of 14 staff
• You contribute to the development of quality close to the pedagogical practice with a focus on wellbeing, development and participation opportunities for all children
• You collaborate with staff, parents and the other pedagogical leader and set the direction for the Children's House's pedagogical work with basis in the pedagogical curriculum and the excellent KIDS results
• You create wellbeing in an engaged staff group that values good collaboration and high social capital
• You support meaningful documentation in an evaluation culture characterized by feedback and instructive reflective processes.

Your competencies

• You are a trained educator with a solid professional foundation, enabling you to lead reflection and change processes in the pedagogical work
• You have an appreciative leadership style and are inclusive, participatory and delegating
• You are a clear and decisive leader who is good at making decisions and involving different perspectives
• You have strong communication skills both in writing and orally, and the dialogue is characterized by respect, reflection and curiosity
• You inspire trust and invite sparring in the ongoing development of optimal dynamic learning environments
• You have a good organizational overview.

About Børnehuset Lundegården

The Children's House has an agreed capacity of 42 in the nursery divided across 4 rooms and 72 preschool children, which are distributed in two houses located side by side.

We are a well-functioning Children's House with a unique location close to the forest and many nature experiences. The Children's House has a versatile profile where movement, song and music, as well as nature and creativity are expressed. The Children's House has many exciting learning rooms that support the versatile profile with many opportunities for expression. The playground is designed with exciting creative play and learning environments. The staff is diverse in gender and age.

The Skovvejen district is located in a pleasant natural area close to the forest and the riding school, as well as Ballerup town centre with a lovely library.

We have networks for nature, culture, language and internship guidance and an annual shared competence development day. In our district there are long traditions of cross-collaboration on larger activities such as the start of school for the child, Samba parade, Potato race, Medieval project and more.

Employment process and salary

The start date is as soon as possible.

The position is, in principle, 37 hours and a permanent position.

Application deadline: October 22, 2026.

We offer salary and employment terms according to the agreement for pedagogical leaders in the municipalities.

Employment follows the principles of local wage formation and after agreement with the negotiating organization.

The salary range for the position is 49,951.95 DKK per month without pension for full-time employment (37 hours per week).

The final salary is set after negotiation between the employer and the trade organization that has the negotiating rights in the relevant collective agreement area. The salary depends, among other things, on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
